The performance took place at the Avantgarde Art And Music Festival "Unrock Unfest" in Essen.
The setting was a very noisy room with several sources of noise competing: White Noise, loud music, distortion, radio static, street noise, ambient noise. The audience could enter the room individually, in 5 minute intervals. During those 5 minutes they sat on a chair, I stood behind them and covered their ears with my hands. I then sang a love song to each one of them (I would choose a song that seemed to best fit the person), acting as a filter and as human headphones.
For those 5 minutes they were protected from the noise while my hands were transmitting their love song.
