Continuing the story from Part I and Part II
Despite this tiny country being protected from all curses and other outside influences, it was also one of the most well connected and had ways of getting information on anyone anywhere. So they very quickly figured out what had happened to the rest of the world.
Our heroic prince weighed his options and decided to get on his private jet and kiss Rose. To save humanity.
They landed on an empty airfield and drove to her apartment (4th floor, no elevator). The journey was quite romantic, in a zombie movie sort of way.
When they got there, Rose was still in the same position where we had left her. Only the pot of kimchi had exploded.
Luckily the smell of kimchi was not a dealbreaker in this case.
And our prince kissed the sleeping beauty -
and nothing happened. We will never know why. Our prince felt rejected and left in a huff.
The world remained asleep for 100 years, nature completely recovered (except for Chernobyl, but that's a different story) and all was well.
And let's be honest. Rose and the prince probably would not have gotten along.
