I am still alive. I've been traveling a little, checking how the Bavarians are doing with their Oktober Fest preparations. I'm happy to report it looks like they're doing just fine. There is a wonderful invention called the Bayern ticket. It costs 15 Euro and you can use all local trains and subways in Bavaria for one day. The only problem is that those trains are slow and not airconditioned. But the price is right.
I'm still recovering from Bavarian trainstation syndrome and the heat is taking a toll on both me and my powerbook. We'll be back soon to report on the most successfull German movie of all times.
